How AI and Image Analysis Technology are Enhancing Accessibility for Visually Impaired Users: Our Recent Research

Ability's AI and Image analytics team are focused on enabling the visually impaired users to sense and interact with digital visual content. In their recent research and demo, our consortium member OFFIS is demonstrating their AI visual assistant which:

  1. Enables users (blind, visually impaired and also sighted) to interact with a Visual Assistant,

  2. Enables users to lead the system for personalized style of responses,

  3. Collect user's data and feedback to further improve the AI pipeline.
