THE ABILITY PROJECT IS AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF CONFIDENTIALITY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE EUROPEAN PILOT PROJECT.

The main goal of ABILITY is to give to the visually impaired the ability to access digital content and reduce the digital barrier in a society where all the interactions are becoming dematerialized and digital.

For what purposes will your personal data be processed?

EMAIL SIGNUP.

The main purpose is to provide you with communications about our products, services and activities, through a newsletter, invitations to organised events or surveys related to the project.   

Conservation: Once your request is made through our form until you request to cancel it.

What data will be collected?

When signing up to receive communications about the project, the sole data collected is your email address .

This data is confidential and will not be transferred to third parties, unless there is a legal obligation. It will solely be shared amongst the consortium, for the logistics of the communications, whilst respecting the legal framework of the GDPR.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

You can exercise your rights within the limits set by the Data Protection Regulations, in particular Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, in particular the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data and the right to limit its processing. Where applicable, you also have the right to object to the processing or the right to data portability.

In those cases where the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, in a free and accessible manner.

What about cookies?

This website only uses its own and third-party technical, personalisation and analysis cookies (Google Analytics), which in no case process  personal data or capture browsing habits for advertising purposes.
