ABILITY @ The LETI Innovation Days, CEA

From 17 to 19 June, we were present at the CEA-LETI Innovation Days for a three-day event that shows the CEA-LETI’s most recent advances. We present the ABILITY tablet and project, as well as the piezoelectric patches developed by CEA-LETI to collectively integrate the piezoelectric actuators through the “Piezo-in-Flex” technology, and integrated on the backside of the OLED screen of the tablet.

We had many visits to the stand and many interesting discussions, essentially with industrial actors of the microelectronic sector. The people who tested the haptic tablet gave us very good feedback and have been convinced of the contribution of multimodality to strengthening the information delivered by the tablet. We have made interesting contacts for potential future collaborations, for example, to integrate a haptic function into microelectronics equipment in cleanrooms.
